华南师范大学附属小学，广东省唯一一所直属广东省教育厅并受广东省教育厅和华南师范大学双重领导的小学，“既是华南师范大学
培养优秀中小学师资的重要实践基地，也是开展基础教育改革试验的实验基地，更是创办高水平小学教育的重要窗口。
华南师范大学附属小学是一所百年名校，从市立师范学校附小，到勷勤大学附小、省文理学院附小，一直延续到今天的华南师范大学附属小学，一个世纪薪火相传，耀眼的成绩谱写教育华章。

学校围绕“实施美好教育，成就教育美好”的办学理念，以提高学生审美和人文素养为目标，将非遗传承和生命教育相结合，是广东省非物质文化遗产进校园示范学校。学校着力打造“一班一特色，一班一非遗”及“五园八馆”特色校园。各班非遗项目各具特色，引领全体学生共同传承中华传统文化艺术、汲取中国智慧、传播中国价值。五园主要包括昆园、琢园、赓园、旨园、丁园，八馆主要包括十大门类46个非遗项目的非遗博物馆、展示学校百年历史的校史馆、体现汉字艺术的中华汉字数字博物馆、融美术与音乐于一体的艺术实践美育馆、实施劳动教育的天光云影劳技馆、馆藏丰富的育人图书馆、融劳动教育和美育一体的金石传拓馆、展示中华历代书法与绘画的书画馆。
一、学校荣誉
华师附小在国际享有声誉，得到社会高度评价。在位于美国华盛顿的中国研究中心下属机构发布中国大陆500所小学最佳排名榜单中，我校以总分100分名列榜首。在2017年11月盖得排行榜位列广州最佳公办小学第一名。
二、课程特色
我校以课程教学为基础，将中华优秀传统文化传承项目纳入学校美育课程建设。在35个班级中，将对相应的传统项目进行课室的布置、文化角的布置，营造浓厚的校园文化氛围，设置非遗作品展架等。同时，建设一支相对稳定的传承项目的师资队伍，聘请35个传统项目的传承人每周到我校进行授课。
学校努力丰富学生课余生活，开设艺术体操、啦啦操、街舞、拉丁舞、民族舞、形体训练、语言表演艺术、诗词朗诵、形体礼仪、语艺小主持等课程，提高学生的艺术修养，开展声乐、管乐、弦乐、舞蹈等艺术项目的比赛和展演，浓厚校园的文化氛围，使学生在浸染高品位的精神氛围中，自信得到树立，情操得到陶冶，心田受到滋润，身心得到健康发展。
Primary School Affiliated to South China Normal University is the only provincial primary school under the dual leadership of Guangdong Education Department and South China Normal University(SCNU). Being regarded as an important window of high-level primary education, the School is both a key practice base of SCNU to cultivate primary and secondary school teachers, and an experimental base to conduct education reform.
This century-old primary school has made brilliant achievements in education and the torch has been passed down from generation to generation, from the Affiliated Primary School of Municipal Normal School to the attached primary school of SoengKen University of Canton, to the attached primary School of Guangdong College of Liberal Arts, and to today's Primary School Affiliated to South China Normal University.
Adhering to the educational principle of providing first-class primary education for student’s life-long development, the school initiates “Good Education” on the basis of the education turning point in this new era and the school reality, looking into the prospect of developing it into a first-class education institute. With the aim of "development with openness and inclusiveness" and the school motto "Comprehensive Study and Courtesy Restriction (to learn with comprehensiveness and behave with manners)", the School has exerted great efforts to form the school spirit of "Respect for Teachers and love for Students to Promote Teaching and Learning". Upholding the mission of "implementing good education and achieving better education", the school aims to improve students' aesthetic and humanistic qualities, taking into consideration Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance in life education. As a demonstration school of intangible cultural heritage in Guangdong Province, the school strives to build a characteristic campus of "one class with one unique feature of our intangible cultural heritage" and "five sectors and eight museums”. Each class has its own characteristics, encouraging all students to jointly inherit traditional Chinese culture and art, absorb Chinese wisdom and spread Chinese values. The five sectors include Kun garden, Zhuo garden, Geng garden, Zhi garden and Ding garden, while the eight museums include: Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum of 46 intangible cultural heritage projects in ten categories, the School History Museum that showcase the school’s 100-year history, the Chinese Characters Digital Museum that embodies the art of Chinese characters, the Art Practice and Aesthetic Education Museum hall that integrates art and music, the Tianguang Cloud Shadow Labor Technology Museum that implements labor education, the Education Library with its rich collection, the Jinshi ChuanTa (the art of expressing and extending) Museum that combines labour education with aesthetic education, and the Calligraphy and Painting Museum that exhibits Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting through the ages.
1. School Honor
Primary School Affiliated to South China Normal University is a highly recognized school, enjoying a good reputation in the international community. Included in the list issued by the China Research Center in Washington, DC, our school has won a total score of 100 points, ranking the first among 500 best primary schools in mainland China. In November 2017, it ranked first in the best public primary schools in Guangzhou.
2. Course Features
Based on the curriculum teaching, our school incorporates the Traditional Chinese Culture Inheritance Project into the school aesthetic education curriculum. In the 35 classes, the layout of the classrooms and the cultural corners will be arranged for the corresponding traditional projects, creating a strong campus cultural atmosphere and setting up exhibition stands for non-legacy works. In the meantime, a relatively stable team of faculty members will be established, and the inheritors of 35 traditional projects will be invited to give lectures at our school every week.
Our school strives to enrich students' off-campus life by offering courses such as rhythmic gymnastics, cheer-leading, street dance, Latin dance, folk dance, physical training, language performance art, poetry recitation, physical etiquette, and literary talents to improve students' artistic accomplishments. The competitions and performances of vocal music, wind music, string music, dance and other art projects, and the cultural atmosphere of the campus enable students to be confidently experiencing high-grade spirit, cultivating sentiments, nurturing their emotion, and strengthen their body and mind.
